Gameplay Programmers

Human Head Studios, Inc. is seeking Programmers for our Madison, Wisconsin video game development studio. This position will be responsible for contributing to our existing codebase to continue to push the gaming envelope for our current AAA title in cooperation with a dedicated team of developers.

Responsibilities

  • Working with lead programmer, designers, artists, and QA.
  • Development of technical design specification and implementation.
  • Contributing ideas towards game production and development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with C/C++.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Comfortable working within an existing code base.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering practices.
  • Self-motivated individual passionate about video games.
  • Expertise in C/C++ and object-oriented design principles.

Expertise and passion in one or more of the following areas:

  • AI
  • User Interfaces
  • General game play
