Katherine Stull is the Community Manager at Human Head Studios and enjoys our exciting projects, passionate community, and regularly scheduled doughnut deliveries. Her love of games started by playing Myst on her family’s first desktop computer. Katie’s investment in games grew through retro consoles like the Sega Genesis and Atari before being introduced to Playstation and Xbox at her best friend’s house. After becoming engrossed in Portal at age 15, Katie realized that games could be taken seriously as an art form and began making her own. She immediately fell in love with the idea of turning imaginary worlds into interactive experiences. After studying literature and Media Arts & Game Development at UW-Whitewater, she joined the ranks at Human Head Studios and has never looked back. When Katie’s not drawing, making games, or engaging with the Human Head community, she’s playing her violin and browsing memes.
Advice for Aspiring Community Managers:
“Read books! Being well-read is a great place to draw inspiration from when you want to make cool things. I also think you should make cool things as often as you can.”
Three Games that Everyone Should Play:
1. Firewatch
2. Portal 2
3. Dear Esther
