Jeff LaChance is an environmental artist with 10 years of experience here at Human Head. He began drawing for fun at a young age, quickly moving into 3D modeling and concepting. After playing “Heretic” by local studio Raven Software, he was inspired to take his passion for art into the game industry. He studied graphic design at MATC and secured a position at Human Head as an intern shortly after graduation. Now a full-time member of our staff, he enjoys the vast aesthetic impact that he can make on a game’s environment by manipulating its smaller, most detailed assets. His favorite part about Human Head is the creative freedom he is able to explore through a flexible role on the art team, where experimentation is encouraged. When he’s not practicing his art outside of the studio, you can find Jeff lifting weights or participating in mud runs with his fiancée.
